Blue Lime hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Blue Lime Waters at Blue Lime Hotel
In 2018 I have been backpacking south East Asia on a budget for 4 months.
As amazing as it sounds, that also means no more than 10 euros a night for accommodation - so a lot of compromise in terms of quality and after a while I started missing a bit the lack of comport that I had back home.
Before leaving Ho Chi Minh to head by bus to Phnom Penh it come out the perfect occasion to get a more comfortable stay in the Cambodian capital to recover energies before exploring the city and then heading to Siem Reap and Battambang.
Gi and I ended up staying at Blue Lime hotel, a great hotel located close to the royal palace and the national museum.
What we loved about the Blue Lime Hotel
The rooms and spacious and clean – definitely on European standards.
We were completely captured by the pool, an amazing oasis of peace.
You can also enjoy an unlimited vegetarian breakfast from 7 to 10 – and I might or might not ordered a double portion of pancakes with honey and lime!
We also took the chance to take a mini river cruise with Blue Lime to see the sunset and the temples and buildings reflections in the Mekong.
